Privacy policy
What this website and Agentswerk do with personal data, in plain language. Based on the GDPR and the Austrian Datenschutzgesetz.
Who is responsible
Agentswerk, address as in the imprint, Vienna, Austria. Email: hello@agentswerk.com. Contact details are in the imprint.
1. Visiting the website
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, and delivered from its European edge locations. When you open a page, Vercel processes the technical data every web server needs: IP address, time, page requested, browser type. Vercel keeps these logs briefly for security and operation. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and bound by standard contractual clauses.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). Your browser sends its IP address to Google to fetch the font files. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a consistent presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2. Visit statistics without cookies
We count visits ourselves, without cookies and without tracking you across sites. For every page view the site stores: the page, the previous site you came from, your country, region and city (derived from the IP address by Vercel, the address itself is not stored), browser language, device type, browser and operating system family, screen width, time on page and how far you scrolled. Instead of an identifier we store a hash built from your IP address and browser that changes every day, so a person cannot be recognised across days. These statistics are stored in a database provided by Upstash Inc. and read only by us. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Because no cookies and no persistent identifiers are used, no consent banner is required. You can exclude your browser by opening agentswerk.com/?notrack once.
3. Contact form and email
When you send the contact form, we receive your name, company, email address, optional phone number, the topic, timeline and message. The form is delivered to our mailbox by email; our email is provided by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd.). We use the data only to answer your inquiry and, if it leads to a project, to prepare and deliver it. We keep inquiries for as long as the conversation is open and for up to three years afterwards, unless a contract requires longer retention. Legal basis: steps before entering a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The same applies to emails you send to hello@agentswerk.com directly.
4. Business emails we send
We contact companies that may benefit from our services by email, addressed to business addresses published by the company itself. We store the company name, the published address, the website and the exchange with us in order to conduct and document the conversation. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in direct marketing to businesses (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, recital 47). Every such email contains a way to opt out; after an opt-out the address is blocked for good. For Austrian recipients we check the RTR "ECG list" before sending. You can object at any time by replying with "unsubscribe" or writing to hello@agentswerk.com.
5. Recipients and transfers
We pass personal data only to the service providers named above (hosting, email, database, fonts), who process it on our behalf and under contract, and to authorities where the law requires it. Where a provider processes data outside the EU, this happens under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@agentswerk.com. You can also complain to the Austrian data protection authority: Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
7. No cookies, no profiling
This website sets no cookies. It stores one value in your browser only if you use the ?notrack switch, to remember that choice. We do not build profiles, do not sell data and do not use advertising networks.
